Memeo Connect 2.0 boosts Google Docs integration

Memeo unveiled a beta in June of Memeo Connect 2.0, its greatly enhanced Google Docs client for Mac and PC designed for SMBs and enterprises. On Wednesday, the company took this version out of beta and also released a surprise Memeo Connect Reader client for iPhone to complements its iPad version.

Google and Apple: a Protracted War

google and appleThe love-hate relationship between Apple and Google has suffered over the years, a series of ups and downs that the New York Times analysis of a recent article. A few years ago, Google was an important partner of Apple: just think of Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt presented jointly iPhone in 2007. In 2006, the same Eric Schmidt entered the CDA to Apple. What came then to ruin the relationship between the two giants?

Given that Google launched Android, the relationship with Apple has deteriorated with the increasing success of the mobile platform. Subsequently, a set of common business objectives have removed the two companies, until it reaches the separation of the two CDA. Recently, relations have soured with the lawsuit against HTC, where Google appears to be the target indirectly.

Apple and Google have also struggled to gain control of these companies. In autumn 2009, after Apple had shown a particular interest in AdMob, Google paid a 25% increase over the offer of the house in Cupertino, winning the auction.

The answer is Apple, the company has success to repeat their greatness to won the same degree previous year.
